Christopher Sykora
Christopher came to Harmonic with a BMus from SMU and three years of teaching orchestra, plus years of writing, recording, and producing music. His transition from music education to software quality assurance might seem unusual, but his ability to focus on detailed work for long hours without complaint makes him perfectly suited for the meticulous nature of QA and video production.
Christopher serves as Harmonic’s editor and QA specialist, reviewing bug fixes and new features before they reach clients. He’s even been our embedded QA liaison on a major project recently, making sure nothing slips through the cracks. His colleagues appreciate his habit of clearly reviewing who’s responsible for what at the end of meetings—the kind of detail-oriented follow-through that prevents confusion later.
Christopher’s an avid musician, photographer, and reader who enjoys spending time outdoors. Most of his free time is spent with his wife, probably discussing books or working on some creative project. His background in music production gives him a natural ear for the rhythm and flow of both software functionality and video editing.
